What's inside

A forward-looking AI analyst across your entire Maple suite

MapleReports tells you what already happened. MapleInsights predicts what is about to happen, surfaces the anomalies you would otherwise miss, and explains every finding in plain English.

Predictive forecasts with confidence ranges

30 to 90 day forecasts for revenue, expenses, capacity, and pipeline. Every forecast ships with a confidence band and a confidence score, so you know exactly how much to trust it.

Real-time anomaly detection

Statistical baselining of every important metric in your suite. Get instant alerts on refund spikes, project burn-rate jumps, ticket volume surges — with the plain-English reason why.

AI-narrated trend reports

Daily or weekly reports written in plain English. Not just charts — the AI tells you what changed, why it changed, and what to do next, with citations into your underlying Maple data.

Cross-product correlations

Insights only emerge when you connect the dots between apps — e.g. concierge upsells driving invoice growth while expense vendor X creeps up. MapleInsights finds those links automatically.

Ask in plain English

Type a question — "what is driving the spike in Toronto support tickets?" — and get a ranked answer with the supporting numbers and a link to the relevant Maple records.

Explainable by design

Every prediction comes with its top drivers and counter-signals. No black boxes — if the model is uncertain, it says so and widens the confidence range.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about MapleInsights. Have something else? Email support@mapleworksuite.com.

What is MapleInsights?
MapleInsights is a Canadian-hosted AI business intelligence and predictive analytics platform. It sits on top of your other Maple apps (MapleInvoice, MapleExpense, MapleDesk, MapleConcierge, MapleProjects, MapleTime, and more) and surfaces forward-looking insights: revenue forecasts with confidence ranges, anomaly detection, AI-narrated trend reports, and plain-English explanations of what is driving the numbers. Pricing is in CAD and the platform is PIPEDA-compliant.
How is MapleInsights different from MapleReports?
MapleReports is your dashboard reporting tool - it shows you what already happened, in tables and charts you can save and share. MapleInsights is the forward-looking AI analyst sitting next to those dashboards. It predicts what is likely to happen next, flags unusual patterns the moment they appear, and writes a plain-English narrative explaining why. Most teams run both: MapleReports for the board pack, MapleInsights for the early-warning system.
How do AI predictions work and do they come with confidence ranges?
Yes. Every forecast in MapleInsights ships with a confidence range and a confidence score so you know how much to trust it. The model blends time-series forecasting (Prophet-style seasonality plus growth trend) with gradient-boosted feature models that incorporate signals from across your Maple suite. A 30-day revenue forecast might read "$48,200 +/- $3,100 CAD, 87% confidence, driven mainly by Maple Concierge upsells". When the model is uncertain (sparse history, large external shock) it explicitly tells you and widens the range.
How does anomaly detection work?
MapleInsights continuously baselines every important metric in your suite - daily revenue, refund rate, ticket volume, expense category spend, project burn rate, time logged per client - and watches for statistically significant deviations. When something unusual appears (a Tuesday refund spike, a project burning 3x faster than its baseline, a client whose ticket volume suddenly tripled) you get an instant alert with a plain-English explanation and a suggested next step. False positives are kept down by requiring both a statistical and a business-significance threshold.
Which Maple products feed data into MapleInsights?
MapleInsights reads from every Maple app you use: MapleInvoice (revenue, AR aging, paid vs outstanding), MapleExpense (category spend, vendor concentration), MapleDesk (ticket volume, response time, CSAT), MapleConcierge (upsell conversion, retention), MapleProjects (burn rate, milestone slippage), MapleTime (utilization, billable hours), MapleTask (throughput), MapleContacts (pipeline), MapleReceptionist (call volume), and MapleMail (engagement). The more apps you connect, the richer the cross-product correlations.
Can MapleInsights explain its findings in plain English?
Yes - that is the whole point. Every alert, forecast, and trend report comes with an AI-narrated explanation. Instead of a chart you have to interpret, you get a paragraph like "Revenue is trending +18% month-over-month, driven by Maple Concierge upsells closing at a 24% higher rate since the new pricing page went live. Watch the Tuesday refund spike under Maple Invoice - three customers in the same plan tier requested refunds within four hours, which is unusual." You can also ask follow-up questions in the chat and drill into the supporting data with citations.
How is MapleInsights priced in CAD?
Pricing is monthly, billed in Canadian dollars. Free is $0 CAD for prototyping with one connected Maple app. Pro is $29 CAD/mo (small businesses, up to 3 connected apps, 30-day history, weekly trend reports). Business is $79 CAD/mo (most popular - unlimited apps, 12 months history, daily anomaly alerts, custom forecasts). Enterprise is $199 CAD/mo (multi-entity, custom metrics, dedicated success manager, signed DPA). Annual plans get two months free. No per-record or per-prediction charges.
Where is my data stored and is it used to train AI models?
All data is stored on Canadian-hosted infrastructure in Moncton, NB and Toronto, ON. Nothing replicates outside Canada. Your business data is never pooled across tenants and is never used to train shared or third-party AI models - we use your data only to generate insights and forecasts for you. Encryption is AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Enterprise customers can sign a DPA and request a SOC 2 report. You can export or delete all of your data at any time from the Settings page.
