How it works

From signup to first clip in four steps

No credit card needed to start on the free storage tier. Most teams ship their first voice agent the same day they sign up.

  1. 1

    Create your MapleVoice account

Sign up with email — you get the free storage tier and a REST API key immediately. No card required. Add Maple AI Tokens whenever you want to generate or clone.

  2. 2

Pick a voice from the library

Browse Canadian English and Quebec French voices. Preview each one with your own sample text in the studio.

  3. 3

Generate, clone, or build an agent

Generate audio from text, upload 3-5 minutes to clone a voice, or wire a conversational voice agent to your LLM. You pay only for the tokens this uses.

  4. 4

Export MP3 / WAV or stream live

Download audio with no watermarks for commercial use, or stream live over WebRTC for real-time voice agents. Keep as much voice data as your storage package allows.

Plans & pricing

Pay for tokens. Pick a storage size.

MapleVoice has no bundled tokens. Synthesis and voice cloning are billed per Maple AI Token, pay-as-you-go. The only thing the packages change is how much drive space you get for your voice data (cloned voices + generated audio).

1. Usage — billed per Maple AI Token

There are no free or bundled tokens. Both synthesis and voice cloning draw from your token balance, pay-as-you-go.

Voice synthesis (TTS)

Generating speech from text uses tokens by the character — 1 Maple AI Token is about 4 characters. Generate nothing, pay nothing.

Voice cloning

Cloning your own voice is available on every plan and is billed in tokens for the training run. No tier gate — clone whenever you want.

Conversational voice agents

Live voice agents use STT + synthesis, so they draw tokens the most. Talk only when you want to — silence costs nothing.

Buy tokens as pay-as-you-go packs. Packs roll over and never expire — prices in CAD.

    Questions & answers

    Frequently asked

Common questions about MapleVoice. Have something else? Email support@mapleworksuite.com.

    What is MapleVoice?
MapleVoice is a Canadian-hosted AI voice platform from MapleWorkSuite. It bundles realistic text-to-speech, custom voice cloning, and conversational voice agents into a single API and dashboard. You can generate narration, build IVR-style phone agents, dub video voiceovers, or clone your own voice for hands-free content — all billed in CAD and aligned with PIPEDA data-residency requirements.
How does MapleVoice compare to ElevenLabs, Murf, or PlayHT?
ElevenLabs, Murf, and PlayHT are US-hosted and bill in USD, which means cross-border data flows and currency conversion fees for Canadian customers. MapleVoice stays in Canada end-to-end, prices in CAD, and includes Canadian English plus Quebec French voices out of the box. Our voice-agent layer also plugs straight into MapleReceptionist for telephony, which the US tools do not offer.
    Does MapleVoice support voice cloning?
Yes. Upload three to five minutes of clean audio, complete the consent verification, and MapleVoice trains a custom voice you can call from the API or studio. Cloning is available on every plan and is billed in Maple AI Tokens for the training run — it is not gated to a tier. Your storage package only governs how many cloned voices and how much generated audio you can keep. We store voice models on Canadian infrastructure and you can delete a cloned voice at any time — the model and its training audio are erased within 24 hours.
Do you have Canadian voices in both English and French?
Yes. The library includes Canadian English voices (Toronto, Halifax, Vancouver, Calgary accents) and Canadian French voices (Quebec City, Montreal). Each voice supports SSML for pauses, emphasis, and pronunciation. We add new Canadian voices roughly every quarter and the changelog ships in the dashboard.
Can I use the MapleVoice API in my own application?
Absolutely. Every account ships with a REST API and webhooks. Endpoints cover TTS synthesis (returns MP3, WAV, or streaming PCM), voice cloning, and conversational voice agents. SDKs are available for PHP, Node.js, and Python. You get an API key as soon as you sign up; usage is billed per Maple AI Token (synthesis and cloning), with no free or bundled tokens — buy pay-as-you-go token packs whenever you need them.
How is pricing structured in CAD?
MapleVoice pricing has two simple, independent parts and no bundled tokens. (1) Usage is billed per Maple AI Token, pay-as-you-go — both voice synthesis and voice cloning draw from your token balance (1 token is about 4 characters). You buy tokens as packs in CAD — 50,000 for $5, 250,000 for $19, 1,000,000 for $59, or 5,000,000 for $199 — and they roll over and never expire. There are no free or bundled tokens. (2) You also pick a storage package sized to how much voice data (cloned voices + generated audio) you keep. Packages differ only by drive space; there is a free storage tier to start. Billed in CAD.
    Is MapleVoice PIPEDA-compliant?
Yes. All audio, transcripts, and voice models are stored on Canadian-hosted infrastructure. We never replicate data outside the country, we never use customer audio to train shared models, and you can request deletion of any voice, transcript, or generated clip at any time. A signed DPA is available on the Business plan.
Can I export the audio I generate?
Yes — every clip you generate is yours to keep. Export as MP3, WAV (16-bit and 24-bit), or OGG. There are no royalty fees, no per-stream charges, and no watermarks on paid plans. Use the audio in podcasts, ads, video, e-learning, IVR phone trees, or in-app narration — commercial use is included on every paid tier.
Is there a free plan for MapleVoice?
Yes. MapleVoice offers a free account so you can start with no credit card and no commitment. Create your free account, explore the core features, and upgrade to a paid plan only when you need more volume or advanced capabilities.
