24/7 monitoring - war room - customer alerts

Your phones, website and email go down at 2 a.m. We know first, and we tell everyone who needs to know.

MapleMonitor watches everything that keeps your business live: phone lines, websites, email, domains, online account balances and business activity. When something breaks, it opens a war room, sets the priority, calls your team, and sends your customers plain-language updates by SMS, email or voice until it is fixed.

What we watch

Everything IT and everything business, on one board

Most monitors only ask "does it answer a ping?". MapleMonitor asks "can your customers actually reach you?", and it watches the business signals that go quiet before anyone notices.

📞

Phone systems and lines

Real test calls to your published numbers, phone system heartbeats, line registration and carrier status. We learn whether callers get through, not just whether a box is online.

🌐

Websites, domains and certificates

Page checks that confirm the right content loads, plus SSL certificate, domain renewal and DNS change alerts, so you are warned before anything expires.

✉

Email delivery

Mail server checks, spam-blacklist listings, sender authentication records, and a real send-and-receive test.

💳

Online account balances

Low-balance and spend-cap alerts for prepaid services, telecom credit, payment processors and your Maple AI token balance, before a service stops.

📱

Social media connections

We confirm your connected social accounts are still linked and posting, so a silently expired login does not stop your marketing.

📈

Business pulse

Alerts when something goes unusually quiet or unusually loud: web leads, sign-ups, invoices sent, inbound calls, customer complaints and support ticket volume.

What happens when something breaks

Every outage gets one war room: a single place for the status, the people working on it, and every message sent or received.

  1. 1

    Detect and confirm

A check fails, and MapleMonitor re-tests from a second location and through your real customer path. A false alarm never wakes anyone up.

  2. 2

Open the war room and set priority

Your MapleMonitor agent sets a P-level from customer impact and follows the runbook for that type of outage.

  3. 3

Call the team, tell the customer

On-call staff get a voice call that repeats until someone answers. Your customers get a pre-approved, jargon-free update by SMS, email or voice. A conference line opens for the team.

  4. 4

    Fix, confirm, report

Remote fixes run first, and on-site steps are sent in simple language. Recovery is re-tested, a resolved notice goes out, and a written summary follows the next business day.

Priority levels

Each outage gets a priority level, and the level decides who hears about it and how fast. Only a person can lower a priority.

LevelMeansYour teamYour customers
P1 CriticalService down, no workaroundVoice call now, repeats until answeredTold within 15 minutes, updates every 30
P2 HighDegraded, partial, or about to failSMS nowTold within 1 hour, updates every 2
P3 MediumBackup path lost, service still workingEmail and a ticketNot contacted
P4 LowEarly warning (renewals, disk space)TicketNot contacted

If an outage's impact is still unknown after 30 minutes, it is raised automatically. Every step is kept in a tamper-proof audit trail.

Questions & answers

Frequently asked questions

Have something else? Email [email protected].

Will you contact my customers without asking me?
Only with messages you approve during setup. You sign off on the wording once, and during an outage we fill in the times and send it. Anything outside those approved messages waits for your OK.
Can I opt out of voice alerts?
Yes. Voice alerts are on by default for critical outages, since a text is easy to sleep through. Any contact can opt out at any time; just ask.
What if my phone system is on-site at my business?
We test it the way your customers use it, by calling your published number. That tells us whether callers get through, not just whether we can reach the box.
Do you include patient or customer details in alerts?
No. Alerts only describe the service status. For healthcare clients, no patient information is ever sent by SMS or email.
Is my data kept in Canada?
Yes. MapleMonitor is hosted in Canada and billed in Canadian dollars.
