It bundles MapleInventory, MapleInvoice, MapleExpense, MapleContacts, and MapleMail behind a single subscription.
How is MapleBuy different from Shopify?
Three things. First, MapleBuy is Canadian-hosted with full PIPEDA-aligned data residency — Shopify keeps customer data outside Canada. Second, billing is in CAD with no foreign-exchange markup. Third, the suite is bundled: customer contacts, invoices, expenses, inventory, and email campaigns are all included — not separate add-ons.
Does MapleBuy handle Canadian HST/GST automatically?
Yes. Charge the right rate per buyer province (5% GST in AB/SK/MB/BC/QC, 13% HST in ON, 15% HST in NB/NS/PE/NL, plus PST/QST stacking where applicable). Pull a tax-summary CSV at filing time — formatted for the GST/HST return.
What payment processors does MapleBuy support?
Stripe and PayPal for card and PayPal balance payments, plus Interac e-Transfer auto-matching against your own Canadian bank inbox. MapleBuy never holds your funds — money flows directly from the processor to your account.
Can I sell physical AND digital products?
Yes. Physical products use Canada Post and Purolator label printing with weight-based shipping. Digital products use secure download links with expiry. Service products (consultations, classes, subscriptions) are also supported and can sync to MapleCalendar for booking.
Is MapleBuy PIPEDA-compliant?
Yes. All customer data is stored on Canadian-hosted infrastructure and never replicated outside the country. We provide the audit trail, retention controls, and data-export tools you need to satisfy the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
